Pleurisy treatments needed?

my little sister is 15 & 8 mnths prego. she went to the ER at about 2 am this morning complaining of very bad chest pains. come to find out,she has pleurisy. she's been digneoused with this before. they couldn't give her any medicine due to her being prego. & it kills me to watch her cry "/ we got her a heat pad, she says it help some. what could i do to help her? please..
