I am flying from Vancouver to Wash, DC, connecting in Minn. Will I have to go thru customs in Minn. How long?

I have about 1hr25m to connect through Minneapolis. I am travelling with an elderly person who can not run to catch connecting flight. How long will we need---we will be arriving around 5:40pm and departing 7:05
