I am really rattled and shaky after visiting my elderly mother. Its not good?

I visited my mother today, she was always sporadically kind then abusive when I was a child and has always had alcohol problems. She was really aggressive today and kept trying to tell me what I should do and think, and kept shouting. I am home now but I am all shaky its horrible. Ive only just got my life on track now after a difficult childhood but I can see her ruining my life again now that she is elderly and demanding. What should I do in this situation?

Why do so many people hate older folk?

Back in my day most people didn't live to the age of 60 and we greatly respected those who did. Back in my day older people controlled the government, not these inexperienced kids. Back in my day we didn't jest about the elderly, instead we appreciated all they did for us. Now we mock the elderly and cut their benefits just because we are slightly decrepit. I'm glad I won't be alive much longer as I would hate to see the generation of hateful kids controlling this country.

How can triiodide be obtained from iodine?

I am conducting an experiment in school which requires triiodide. I know that I2 + I- <--> I3-, which is iodine + iodide=triiodide. what im not sure is if the school lab provides triiodide and if they dont, are there complicated chemical procedures required to obtain triiodide from iodine? So how can i obtain triiodide then? or is it plain mixing iodine and iodide?

My brother just attacked me?

I was playing on my 360 when he came in and started arguing with me i didnt respond so he started to mess with my stuff then i told him that if he wanted to clean up at least do it right. Then i grabbed a hammer and went to my room and punched the wall(i was really pissed) he followed me and i went to my dads room(he isnt home) then my brother came in and punched me and wrestled me to get the hammer(my brothers 2 years older and 1 foot taller) when he finaly got it i curled up in the fetal position hoping he wouldnt kill me...he left the room with his b and i went after the b and threw it agenst the wall then he ran after me and knocked me to the ground and punched me 12 times in the head(about four inches behind my ear is killing me right now and my neck hurts) then i ran and grabed a knife from the kichen and started slashing his door telling him never to touch me again and to give me the phone so i can call 911 or my dad he climed out the window and then i threw the knife at the ground(not towords him) and i paced around my house for about 10 min before going to my neighbers house and calling my dad its the fourth time hes attacked me im 14 hes 16 i need him out of this house scince the first week he moved back in he has been harrasing and bulling me i dont consider him family i havent scince 2008 when i had to leave my mothers house because of him im not leaving this time.
